Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt

... And his book "Noah's child". It is a tale of difference, tolerance, love, respect, hate and the search for identity. The moving story combines humor with seriousness. The main character is Jewish boy who lives in occupied Belgium and has to hide becouse of his religion. He is separated from his parents, but he receives help and support from catholic priest...
 - But Rudi, being on the side of Israel does not mean to endorse everything, that is decided by Israel. We must make peace with Palestinians. They have the same right as you to live here. This is also their territory. They lived there even before the state of Israel was established. The story of our persecution, should make us spoke to them words on which we waited for ages...
The book reminds me of another, touching story: "The Little Prince" Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.
